Class OverviewThis class will focus on reading and analyzing United States literature through an exploration of different genres. Students will get a taste of literature from multiple decades in American history, Students will be tested on their reading comprehension on their North Carolina Final Exam at the end of the semester. Along with reading, students will be asked to write a major research paper where they will be allowed to showcase their mastery of the grammar that we have studied. Finally, we will study a fifteen week vocabulary syllabus that will better prepare us for the ACT.
