Class OverviewThis class will teach students how to effectively read and use inference to comprehend various works of literature. Along with reading, we will write and hone our grammar skills, memorize and be able to utilize numerous literary terms, and learn how to communicate more effectively through a fifteen week vocabulary curriculum. Students will be conscious of the North Carolina Final Exam at the end of the semester, and the ACT that they must take during their junior year. This class will give students a foundation on which to build their knowledge of how to read and analyze literature while preparing them to pass these state mandated exams.
